Autism Junior Phase - Farm Corner

Via Nova School was very blessed to have furry and feathery friends come and visit during our in-house excursion on 13 June from Farm Corner. The learners absolutely loved this experience, and the animals left their footprints on our hearts!
The day celebrated the goals of the theme farm animals and there were chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and a pony that the learners could take a ride on. Learners could look at and pet the different animals.
We thank all parents for collaborating with us and making it possible for the learners to join in on the fun!
Autism Junior Phase - Trip to Mini Town

The learners together with Educators and Class Assistants underwent an educational Excursion to MINI TOWN.
The learners explored when they arrived where they saw Road signs, traffic lights and mini town of the Church, School, Hospital, Police Station, Filling Station, Restaurant, Bed and Breakfast.
The learners learned about road safety and practically demonstrated how to cross the road on the traffic lights helped by Danny the CAT. They played on the Mini Town Streets using Bicycles, Scooters and Kiddies Wheels.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the excursion to Mini Town!
